Texas Performance Standards Projects

My professor of my GT class that I'm also taking introduced us to the Texas Performance Standards Project. This is a great resource for GT teachers to use as projects with their students. These projects were created by TEA and the projects are cross curricular. The reason I think it's applicable to this multimedia class because the projects also incorporate multimedia. Currently I am doing two of the projects, one with my 3rd and with my 5th grade class. For the 5th grade project the students are using e-mail to send e-mails to experts, the internet for research, and excel. Then the students are going to present their projects using PowerPoint or moviemaker if they want. Anyway, this is a great resource, so check it out http://www.texaspsp.org/.
